Cal Ripken, Jr. drove the Chevrolet Corvette pace car that lead the field of 43 to the starting line for the 49th Daytona 500 on February 18, 2007. "The Daytona 500 is one of the most storied sporting events in the country and I am thrilled and honored to be a part of it," Ripken said.
